Davis Cars, a family run taxi business based in Chelmsford, Essex, has recently implemented SupaTrak Mobile. The busy company needed to know the exact location of each of their vehicles at any given time in order to run their business efficiently and the SupaTrak vehicle tracking system is proving to be the perfect solution to their problems.
On Board Anita and Andy Davis run their taxi business, Davis Cars, from their home in Essex. In addition to their already busy schedule, the couple have a 2 year old child to look after and Anita has other freelance job commitments. They are the first point of contact when someone calls for a taxi and they operate the business 24 hours a day.
Davis Cars first implemented the SupaTrak vehicle tracking system throughout their fleet of vehicles in Summer 2007. SupaTrak enables them to access comprehensivefleet management information, such as vehicle location, speed and distance from a chosen point and allows them to activate ring fences, which send an alert in the event of predefined boundaries being broken.

The development of SupaTrak Mobile takes SupaTrak's standard tracking capabilities to the next level, enabling customers to track their vehicles and assets whilst on the move and from the palm of their hand.
A fully operational version of SupaTrak can now be accessed, anywhere and at any time via their PDA, which is an ideal solution for mobile workers, who don't have fixed access to their laptop or desktop.
Anita Davis, Owner of Davis Cars, commented on the benefits of SupaTrak Mobile, saying that "we can locate our cars and allocate the job to the nearest driver. It helps us to provide better customer service." Anita is able to inform customers of how long it will take for the taxi to reach them and track their drivers' progress whilst on route to their destination.
SupaTrak Mobile helps the couple to manage their busy work schedule, by enabling them to manage their taxi business alongside their other commitments. Anita says that being able to access the SupaTrak account via her PDA has given her "a great deal of freedom and flexibility".
